Is it okay to worry about the future?
It’s natural to feel nervous when you think about all the things that could go wrong in life (having to move and leaving your friends, family problems, job loss, and so on). But that doesn’t give us a free pass to worry. While its okay to dislike bad things in life, it’s not okay to sit around worrying whether or not they’ll happen. In Psalm 37:9, God tells us the wicked WILL be destroyed, and those who trust in God WILL be rewarded. There’s no question about how things will work out. God WILL take care of us! And if your still worrying, remember Jesus’ clear instructions in Matthew 6:34: “Don’t worry!”
